Redesigned S350-P Circular Table Saw
The Original S-350 circular table saw was imported by PEULEN B.V., Rotterdam. The design project aimed to improve the machine in accuracy, looks and usability and resulted in the release of the S-350P edition. The S-350P was introduced to market in 2009 and currently for sale.
Exploded view of the flowhood
To improve accuracy and usability, the flowhood is aerodynamically designed to optimise dust extraction, its support arm balanced by a spring for easy positioning. Electronic adjustment of the scoring saw is added to improve the quality of the cuts, and the façade of the machine is restyled, to match company branding.
The project was done as part of the Project Advanced Products course at Delft University of Technology, by a group of six Design Engineering students.
